[Rivet] Internal compiler errorHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chThu Dec 11 10:55:08 GMT 2008
Hi Christopher, wrapNNPDFgrid.f is actually in lhapdf (one of our dependencies), not in rivet, so I copy this mail to the lhapdf mailing list. Some questions to get started: - I guess you are using the most current rivet-bootstrap script from http://svn.hepforge.org/rivet/bootstrap/rivet-bootstrap ? - That means you are using lhapdf-5.6.0? - Which version of gcc/gfortran are you using ("gfortran --version")? - What are your lhapdf configure options? You find them in the top of the config.log file in the lhapdf-<version> subdirectory where you tried to build rivet. Cheers, Hendrik Thus spake Christopher Bignamini (christopher.bignamini at pv.infn.it): > Dear developers, > > I am trying to compile Rivet-1.1.1 on my Mac OSX 10.5 with the gfortran > compiler. > I have successfully compiled the Boost libraries but then, when I try to > compile Rivet, > I get the following error: > > wrapNNPDFgrid.f: In function ?master.0.nnpdfintevolve?: > wrapNNPDFgrid.f:320: internal compiler error: in set_uids_in_ptset, at > tree-ssa-structalias.c:4773 > Please submit a full bug report, > with preprocessed source if appropriate. > See <http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions. > make[1]: *** [wrapNNPDFgrid.lo] Error 1 > make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 > > The last source file successfully compiled seems to be wrapheragrid.f. > I know that probably the error is related to a problem with my gfortran > compiler more than to a bug in the Rivet code, but > I would like to know if someone else got that error and whether you can > help me or not. > Thank you in advance for your answer. > > Best regards > > Christopher Bignamini > > ___________________________________ > > Christopher Bignamini > Nuclear and Theoretical Physics Department (DFNT) - University of Pavia > 6, Via A.
