[Rivet] Python version in rivet installation

I am trying to install Rivet 2.6.0 via the bootstrap script and get
the following error message:

I am using the default ubuntu 18.04 python version 2.7.15rc1.
Apparently the check in the YODA configure script assumes a fully
numeric patch version.
