[Rivet] Comment on running Rivet 2_5_4 on lxplus

Hi Merijn,

Apologies for the delayed reply -- I had misread your email and thought you
were offering a fix for our current "bootstrap" script.

Indeed, the SLC6 system tools are very old and have not been sufficient for
some time. For this reason we supply the "LCG bootstrap script" in addition
to the generic rivet-bootstrap script. We can't hard-code knowledge about
lxplus into our Makefiles for many obvious reasons, but I've made the
inadequacy of the system tools and offered your setup commands (which match
those in rivet-bootstrap-lcg) at
