[Rivet] setting linear scale

It is not the latest version but is a later one.

Hi Viesturs,

I don't know what the CMSSW versions are, but I guess you mean that
7_4_14 is the latest? It would definitely be good to get the latest
Rivet, v2.4.1, available in CMS so I've CC'd Xavier Janssen who can
hopefully help you with this.
