Nope. What exactly happens?

By the way, I suspect that first form doesn't do what you expect: the
resulting histo path will be /ANANAME/d01-x01-y01, not
/ANANAME/tempname. That extra argument sets the title (which we normally
don't do, preferring the .plot files), not a path. I suspect that this
is the source of your trouble.
