[Rivet] LHAPDF and lcg insallation of Rivet 2.0.0Andy Buckley andy.buckley at cern.chTue Nov 26 10:35:23 GMT 2013
Hi Cigdem, I built Pythia8 (and the Sacrifice interface) the "quick way" for the tutorial, i.e. it uses HepMC but not LHAPDF. I can try to upgrade it, but my time is really short and I'm not sure I will be able to find time to work that out this week... maybe someone else on this list can give me some quick instructions and I'll update that installation. The alternative way is to build it yourself: this is pretty simple, but if building on lxplus and wanting to use the LCG installation of LHAPDF you will need to find it, get the paths correct, etc. Not hard, I think, but it might require a little trial and error: maybe someone on this list already has a step-by-step guide?
