[Rivet] Z projection on Rivet

Thanks for all the work on this, Frank! Can these generalisations also
be ported into the WFinder, to keep them in sync and equally powerful?

I've not been following the SVN messages for this in detail, but can
everyone please endeavour to update the ChangeLog file (with a handy
"C-x 4 a" key combo in emacs) when you make a behavioural
change/improvement/bug fix. I use the ChangeLog as the source of info
about a new release, and we direct users to it to find out the detailed
changes from the previous release... so it should be as (interestingly)
complete as possible. Cheers :)
