No problem!

This is the culprit:

configure:3343: Calculating LCG platform tag from system properties
configure:3345: checking for OS type
configure:3371: result: slcrelease
configure:3375: checking for architecture type
configure:3378: result: x86_64
configure:3437: WARNING: Could not find g++ to check for version!
configure:3485: LCG platform tag is 'x86_64-slcrelease-gccXX-opt'

No idea why it couldn't find g++ to test the version... but that's what
went wrong.
