Nothing formal, no. I try to review the code of new analyses a bit, but
fundamentally it comes down to whether the author considers all the
available checks to have been done. Making sure that you can reproduce
the MC lines from the paper is a good one, since the MC not matching the
*data* is a valid result!

It's all hacky things, as far as I know. The HepData page has it written
explicitly, though: easier to get it from there than from SPIRES/Inspire.
