[Rivet] our use of fastjetHendrik Hoeth hendrik.hoeth at cern.chTue May 5 14:50:16 BST 2009
Hi Andy, Thus spake Andy Buckley (andy.buckley at durham.ac.uk): > It's actually based on me having an email discussion with Gavin where > he said that he believed CDF had actually used 0.75... I hadn't seen > that comment, which makes it sound more like a FastJet opinion on how > to make the algorithm behave best. I see ... No, I'm not sure that CDF used 0.5, but that's what the fastjet documentation even in 2.4.0 says in section 7.3.1 (CDF Midpoint): "The overlap threshold (f) used by CDF is usually 0.5" So we should check with CDF instead of guessing blindly. Do you know whom we can ask? Hendrik -- "You have to take the most direct road to go instead of your meeting, you have to, this one ended, leave at once the CERN domain." (imprint on the CERN visitor ID cards)
