[Rivet-announce] Rivet workshop 2017!

Hello Riveteers,

It's time to prepare for the annual Rivet workshop/hackathon, version 2017!
This is a great opportunity for newcomers to get involved with the help of
more seasoned contributors, as well as a perfect time to polish off those
new features we've been trying to ship for a while (I'm pointing fingers at
myself I promise). This year's festivities will be held in Hamburg at the
lovely DESY campus, and we are aiming for approximately three days of fun
in October or early November. To ensure maximum attendance, please fill out
the doodle poll below.

Even if you aren't able to attend in person, you are more than welcome to
take part in the activities remotely. If you are a newcomer and interested
in contributing from off site, please let us know in advance so we can help
get you up to speed. Along the same lines: we plan to schedule a Rivet
tutorial during the first day of the workshop, and we'll do our best to
have video connections available for it. Feel free to advertise the
tutorial to anyone you think might be interested, even if they don't want
to contribute to Rivet directly.
