Dear all,

Rivet 1.8.3 has been released today. As ever it contains a mix of new
analyses and minor bugfixes, and is recommended for immediate production
use in place of 1.8.2 and earlier. Thanks to everyone who supplied new
analyses and/or bug reports.

As always, this version and documentation can be downloaded from the
Rivet website at http://rivet.hepforge.org

This release still uses the AIDA histogramming system; a first public
beta release of the 2.x release series, with improved histogramming (and
many other planned improvements) will be announced shortly. The 1.x
series is now closed to feature development but will receive important
bug fixes and accept new analysis submissions until the full version
2.0.0 has been released.

Best wishes & happy Riveting :-)
The Rivet team
