*** Release of HiggsBounds version 5 beta ***

Dear HiggsBounds friends and users,
we'd like to announce the beta release of HiggsBounds-5.

Version 5 is a major upgrade that includes the LHC results from the 13 TeV run. To accommodate the new results, the model input framework of HiggsBounds needed to be extended (i.e. the Fortran input subroutines and data input file structure has changed). Moreover, we have also changed the HiggsBounds SLHA input blocks. All relevant changes are documented in a draft-version of a new manual, which is available on our website (on the download page). A full documentation of the new code is in progress. Due to these structural changes on the code and the missing complete documentation we decided to announce this package as a beta-release. We are grateful for any bug reports or feedback of this version.

HiggsBounds-5.0.0beta contains most of the recent Higgs exclusion limits from the 13 TeV run. A full list of the implemented analyses can be obtained by running ./AllAnalyses after successful compilation.

Note that the current HiggsSignals version (1.4.0) needs to be linked to a stable HiggsBounds-4 version. We are working on a HiggsSignals-2 version that works with HiggsBounds-5 and includes the 13 TeV results.

The HiggsBounds and HiggsSignals codes can be obtained from:

Best wishes,
	The HiggsBounds Team
