  use AbsSqrt[] instead of Sqrt[] in the EWSB eqs

in order to avoid problems at the border of the parameter space
where EWSB is difficult

  partially revert commit c2a2e3

Using AbsSqrt[] makes solves the EWSB eqs. even for points, where EWSB
does not work!  The occurrence of NANs is an indicator that the EWSB
equations cannot be solved.
